New Korean Eatery Opening In The Promenade Bolingbrook

Afternoon is scheduled to open in June and will be located on The Row, between Cycle Gear and Sugar Bee's Sweets and Treats.

BOLINGBROOK, IL — Afternoon, a quick service eatery based in New York, will bring its Korean fried snacks and beverages to The Promenade Bolingbrook.

The new restaurant will offer bubble teas, smoothies and the Jongro hot dog, which is a popular Korean street food, according to a news release from the shopping center. The hot dogs have a fried coating that can be filled with cheese or spicy sausage, and dipped in fried ramen noodles or sweet potatoes.

“We are thrilled to welcome Afternoon to our wide variety of food offerings,” Steven Yee,
general manager of The Promenade Bolingbrook, said in a release. “There truly is something for everyone’s taste at The Promenade Bolingbrook and Afternoon will offer delicious grab-and-go snacks shoppers can enjoy while strolling around our beautiful center.”

Sugar Bee’s Sweets and Treats. The owners also operate Tanaka Ramen Noodles, located next to
Ted’s Montana Grill.
