Thea Camara of Bolingbrook, who goes to Eggs Inc. a few times a month, said she thinks the family business is in a class of it’s own.

“It’s warm,” Camara said. “The service is wonderful. The food is excellent. I haven’t had anything come out raw or bad. Everything has just been great.”

Sherryl Guedelhoefer of Naperville has been to Honey-Jam three times and said it is a good restaurant.

“It’s excellent and pretty,” Guedelhoefer said. “The people are very nice here and I haven’t had a better breakfast. Everything is very fresh and homemade. The blueberries on the crepes are fresh rather than frozen or (from) a can. The coffee is good and fresh. It’s like eating at home at a really nice place.”

Guedelhoefer’s friend, Connie Hyland of Bolingbrook agreed with her that Honey-Café is a comfortable atmosphere.

“I like its warm atmosphere and the food has been very good,” Hyland said, a third-time customer. “It’s a great place to meet with my girlfriends.”

Camara also tried Honey-Jam Café and said she liked Eggs Inc. better for its homey atmosphere.

“There are long lines and waits at Honey-Jam, and it’s more commercial,” Camara said.

Both businesses said they plan to hopefully have some community fundraising opportunities in the near future.
