Pioneer 1st-Grade Teacher Named Golden Apple Finalist
Nancy Zider has taught at Pioneer Elementary School for 15 years.
A first-grade teacher at Bolingbrook’s Pioneer Elementary School was selected as one of the finalists for the Golden Apple Award, according to a Times Weekly report.
Nancy Zider was one of the 30 finalists for the honor, the report stated. The Golden Apple Award recognizes 10 Chicago area teachers each year, the report added.
Zider, who has worked in the Valley View School District 365U since 1996, has been a teacher at Pioneer for 15 years, the report stated.
