Plenty of Scares, Intrigue in Bolingbrook High School Fall Play

Local theatre fans looking for an entertaining way to celebrate the Halloween weekend need look no further than the Bolingbrook High School production of Stage Fright or “LAUGH?” I Thought I’d DIE! Friday, Oct. 31, Saturday, Nov. 1 and Sunday, Nov. 2.

A tale told in four vignettes, the theatre-venue becomes a character itself in this alternately terrifying, hilarious and always intriguing journey across the decades that allows the audience to experience the history of the Orpheus Theatre where, for almost a century, an evil haunting presence has awaited the fulfillment of a chilling prophecy. A blood-stained Ouija board and a cryptic rhyme are the only keys that will unlock a terrifying truth.

The production team includes Shireen Behzadi, director; Kayla Danielson, assistant director; Rich Johnson, technical director, set design and lighting design; and Tiffany Prouty, student director.
