BOLINGBROOK, IL — Pets and their owners can head to The Promenade Bolingbrook's pet parade on June 24. Friendly pets, but no livestock, are welcome, according to the shopping center.
The parade will step off at 5 p.m., and there will be a post-parade pet party and awards.
Dogs must be leashed at all times, and all other pets, including birds, cats and hamsters, must be caged and pulled in a wagon, according to the shopping center.

Space is limited to the first 500 pets that are registered. An early bird fee of $5 per pet is available for the first 200 registered pet. Proceeds will benefit the West Suburban Humane Society.
