The Jonas Salk Elementary School PTA is hosting a Back-To-School Family Fishing Event Saturday afternoon, Aug. 16, at Hidden Lakes Trout Farm, 419 Trout Farm Road, Bolingbrook.
The 2 to 3:30 p.m. activity, co-sponsored by the Illinois Department of National Resources, includes 90 minutes of catch-and-release fishing plus advice for children on both fishing and safety around bodies of water.
The event is free for anyone who shows their current Salk PTA membership. Otherwise the cost is $5 per family. Fishing equipment will be provided.

Refreshments and snacks will be available for purchase. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
