Shots Fired In Bolingbrook During Weed Deal, Man Arrested: Cops
Investigation found that the shooting happened as a result of a dispute during an illegal cannabis transaction, police said.

BOLINGBROOK, IL — A Bolingbrook man is facing charges after a call of shots fired on Sunday on Woodcreek Drive in Bolingbrook, according to police.
Police said officers responded at 1:25 p.m. Sunday for a report of shots fired, and while headed to the scene, they learned that gunshots were fired at an occupied vehicle in the parking lot and that multiple people had fled on foot.
Officers detained three individuals, according to police. One of the individuals had discarded a fanny pack while fleeing, police said.

Police took Andrew Tolliver, 33, into custody and also recovered the discarded fanny pack, which contained a .380 caliber loaded handgun with a defaced serial number, police said. A canvass of the shooting scene also found two .380 caliber shell casings, according to police.

Two 16-year-olds from Bolingbrook were released without charges, pending further investigation, police said.
Tolliver was charged with aggravated discharge of a firearm, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, unlawful use of a weapon by a felon, unlawful possession of firearm ammunition, resisting a peace officer, obstructing identification and defacing a firearm. He was taken to Will County Adult Detention Facility. As of Monday, he had not been released.
