Stop Bullying Rally, 5K Run/Walk at Bolingbrook High School on Oct. 19
PTA spokesman says studies show partnerships create more opportunities for children to experience meaningful, engaged learning.

Bolingbrook High School’s PTA is embarking on a campaign to help address one of biggest problems schools across the country face: bullying.
The PTA, which was just formed a year ago, is planning a “Stop BullyingRally” along with a “Stand UP Speak OUT” 5K on Saturday, Oct. 19 at Bolingbrook High School.
“The Bolingbrook High School PTA was established to provide educational enhancement opportunities for our students, a goal we hope to obtain by working closely with the school, parents and community,” said PTA spokesperson Colleen Douty. “Studies show when this partnership between school, family and community exists, children have more opportunities for meaningful, engaged learning. When students learn, communities thrive.”
