Talented 20: Bolingbrook, Romeoville Send Individuals to District Music Festival Competitions

The goal of ILMEA is to promote lifelong music learning and to provide leadership for music education.

Twenty Valley View School District 365U high school students have been selected as participants in the prestigious Illinois Music Educators Association District 9 Music Festivals in November.

Participating in the Nov. 16 Senior Jazz Festival at Naperville Central High School will be Romeoville High School’s Robin Czajowski and Bolingbrook High School’s Isaac Armstead, Jonathan Slowik, Marcus Smith and Malcolm Smith.

Participating in the Nov. 23 Senior Band/Chorus/Orchestra Festival at Aurora East High School from Romeoville High School will be Jessica Hernandez (chorus) and Ian Irvine (band). They will be joined by Bolingbrook High School’s  Megan Eberle (band), Johnathon Cook (choir) and chorus members Campbell Bovaird, Spencer Bovaird, Caleb Hand, Paige Kennedy, Corey McNulty, Jordan Nazos, Brian Parro, Claire Pigors, Malcolm Smith, Sarah Tomei and Jonathan Worlton.

ILMEA is a non-profit association, representing every level of music education in every discipline and is dedicated to promoting lifelong music learning and to provide leadership for music education.
