Taste Of Bolingbrook Returns Aug. 12

BOLINGBROOK, IL — The annual Taste of Bolingbrook will return to The Promenade Bolingbrook on Aug. 12, featuring local food, live entertainment, a crafters market, beer garden, and Family Fun Zone.

The interior streets of the shopping center will be closed during the event, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and attendees can walk, sample food and beverage, and visit Promenade retailers and vendors, according to the shopping center.

The Family Fun Zone will include a Bolingbrook fire truck, a quiet room from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. from the Northern Will County Special Recreation Association, and a petting zoo from noon to 3 p.m. sponsored by Kiddie Academy.

Chamber nonprofits will also offer family-friendly activities in the Zone on Hemingway Trail.

Entertainment and a beer garden will be available on The Row from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., sponsored by GEODIS, Advantage Chevrolet and Verilife.

Naperville School of Rock will be on stage from 11 a.m. to noon; followed by Hinge from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.; The Sumthins from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.; and Starlight City will close the night from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
