Valley View Introduces First Electric Bus To District

The District said the electric bus replaces a diesel bus that had reached the tine to be rotated out of service.

BOLINGBROOK, IL — Valley View School District has introduced its first electric school bus to its fleet, according to a news release from the District.

The District said the electric bus replaces a diesel bus that had reached the tine to be rotated out of service.

"VVSD will continue to seek opportunities to add cleaner technology in providing services to our students and families when it makes operational and financial sense to do so," the District said.
