Valley View Parent Networking Night is Nov. 22

The Student Services Department at Valley View School District 365U is sponsoring a Parent Networking Night Thursday evening, Nov. 20, at Lukancic Middle School, 725 Normantown Road, Romeoville.

At the gathering, parents and community members will hear about the new Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC) assessment and the Dynamic Learning Maps (DLM) assessment, and will learn new methods to help reinforce student skills related to the assessments.

VVSD Student Services staff will also provide and celebrate data about the program.

The event will run from 6 to 8 p.m. Refreshments will be served. Spanish language translation services and free child care will be available.
