Valley View Students Honored at Wilco Career Center Awards Night

Several dozen Valley View School District 365U students were among those honored Monday night at the annual Wilco Area Career Center Awards Night.

Romeoville High School’s Jada Smith was named the Wilco Star Student Scholarship winner, while six RHS students and one Bolingbrook High School student earned “student of the year honors” in their respective programs.

Honored were:

National Technical Honor Society: Gloria Awin-ongya, Nereida Bucio, Emily Huebner, Andrea Rede, Jada Sims, Amanda Slone, Elijah Rivera, Iris Chavarin, Hector Dondiego, Itzel Guerrero, Mayra Rosales and Anthony Spiewak, all RHS; and Leanne Becker, Gianna Esposito, Jayla Glass, Aarykah Lee, Maria Marino, Keyundra Watts, and Maria Castaneda, all BHS
