Enter the season of Lent and our thoughts turn toward those who can't just turn on the faucet or fill the tub. In a small way, we experienced what they do not have most days.
We all need water to survive. Clean, available water to drink, to bathe, to clean - even to be baptized. This Lent, we can turn our prayers and efforts toward those who desperately need clean water. Such a simple need, such good work for us. Thank you, God, for the gift of the earth's water.
