• Bourbonnais renews KCCVB membership for another three years (shawlocal.com) — Bourbonnais has committed to stay in the Kankakee County Convention and Visitors Bureau through June 30, 2029, paying a base fee starting at $70,000 a year. Village leaders say the renewed partnership will help promote local events, attract visitors, and support Bourbonnais businesses alongside neighboring communities like Kankakee and Manteno.
   

• TCAT investigates stolen cars (wivr1017.com) — Two cars were reported stolen in Bourbonnais this week, one from Levasseur and another from Northfield Meadows, with investigators still searching for suspects. Local residents can also look ahead to the Reflections of Kankakee County History Bus Tour next month, organized with the Bourbonnais Township Park District and Visit Kankakee County.
