• Brookfield investing $300K into Fairview triangle property (rblandmark.com) — Brookfield is preparing to spend $300,000 in TIF funds to help redevelop the long-vacant Fairview Avenue triangle into a 27-unit luxury apartment and retail complex. Village officials say the subsidy, tied to construction milestones through 2027, should boost tax revenue and spur more development in the Grand Boulevard TIF district near Brookfield Zoo Chicago.
