Meet co-founders Sean Mahoney and Ike Orcutt at this free beer event featuring BuckleDown Brewery, a small-batch craft brewery/taproom that launched in Lyons, Illinois in 2013. Featured beers from head brewer Ike Orcutt include Fiddlesticks Belgian-style IPA, Painted Turtle Extra Pale Ale, Shady Aftermath Robust Porter and Belt & Suspenders American IPA (all $6). Executive chef Wally Rouse prepares Buckledown beer-spiked specials including Blackened Bacon and Artichoke Beer Dip, Beer-Braised Tortilla Soup, Ale-Brined Fried Chicken and Aftermath Lava Cake (prices vary $2.99-$10.99).
