Clown Shoes Beer Event at High Noon Saloon | 7-10 p.m. Thursday, March 6

High Noon features beers from Clown Shoes Beer, a Massachusetts-based brewery seldom available in Chicago venues. Clown Shoes has gained notoriety for its offbeat beer names, unconventional ingredients such as holy water and the controversial art on the brewery’s labels. High Noon offers Undead Party Crasher American Double Imperial Stout, Bombay Berserker Indian-Style Chocolate Stout and Galactica IPA (all served in 11.5-ounce snifters); prices range from $6-$8. The event features free live music from John Kimler from 8-11 p.m., a meet-and-greet with Clown Shoes staffers and suggested food pairings from chef Ruben Beltran’s Tex-Mex menu (prices vary).
