Man Grabbed, Swore At Kids As They Walked to School: Cops
Chicago police are looking for a suspect who confronted students in 2 separate incidents Tuesday.

CHICAGO, IL — Police are searching for an unknown man accused of grabbing and yelling profanities at children near a Northwest Side school in two different incidents Wednesday.
In the first case on Wednesday, Feb. 8, the suspect confronted a 12-year-old girl and other students walking to Avondale-Logandale Elementary School, 3212 W. George St., at about 7:50 a.m. in the 3200 block of West Diversey Avenue, according to Chicago police. He grabbed the girl's arm and screamed at her before she was able to flee to the school and tell staff.
The second incident happened about five minutes later in the 2900 block of North Spaulding Avenue, police said. The suspect grabbed an 11-year-old boy walking to school and yelled profanities at him. When he was let go, the boy ran to the school and told staff about the confrontation.

According to police, the suspect was described as a Hispanic man in his 50s, whose lip and right eye have physical impairments. At the time, he was wearing a black-hooded, puffy jacket and black jeans.
