Springleaf Financial Hosts Free Financial Literacy Training for Chicagoland Residents

No longer does budgeting or balancing checkbooks have to strike fear in the hearts of local residents. Springleaf Financial is hosting an in-store financial literacy event to celebrate the launch of MoneySKILL in Chicagoland and help consumers better understand how to manage their finances. The guided curriculum, developed by the American Financial Services Association Education Foundation, enables participants to learn valuable insights that can help them achieve a better financial future.

Springleaf Financial is the first company to roll out MoneySKILL at no-cost to consumers nationwide. Chicagoland residents can meet with Springleaf representatives in-store to increase their financial literacy and to ask basic financial questions. The nine MoneySKILL modules focus on credit and borrowing, managing expenses, budgeting and saving and other related topics.
