7 Liquor Bottles Stolen At Walgreens: Buffalo Grove P.D. Blotter
The alcohol, valued at $209, was stolen at the 1701 N. Buffalo Grove Road location, according to police.

BUFFALO GROVE, IL — The following information comes from the Buffalo Grove Police Department (except when noted) and court records as a record of incidents reported to police and those arrested on criminal charges, which represent accusations by the state that are often dropped or reduced.

Barry L. Holubar, 60, of the 1300 block of Brandywyn Lane, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, illegal possession of liquor by a driver, not wearing a seat belt, and was arrested at 1:56 p.m. Aug. 7, at Thompson Boulevard and Ronnie Drive. He was released after posting bond and was assigned a court date of Aug. 23.

INCIDENTS
RETAIL THEFT
Police responded to Walgreens, 1701 N. Buffalo Grove Road, at 1:02 p.m. Aug. 2, for a retail theft report. An employee told police someone stole seven bottles of alcohol, valued at $209.93.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
Police responded to the 1200 block of McHenry Road at 6:55 a.m. Aug. 3, for a delayed criminal damage to property report. A complainant told police someone entered a maintenance room and damaged property with paint.
BURGLARY
Police responded to a building in the 1100 block of McHenry Road at 8:25 a.m. Aug. 4, for a burglary. Upon arrival, police met with a complainant, who said they found a rear exterior door damaged and money was missing from the cash register.
THEFT
A resident in the 800 block of Trace Drive reported at 10:50 a.m. Aug. 7, their bike was stolen from an unsecured storage unit in the basement of the building.
