Niche.com recently released its 2016 best public high school rankings.

LINCOLNSHIRE, IL -- Adlai E. Stevenson High School has been ranked as the best high school in the state, according to recently released rankings by Niche.com.

Niche.com ranking factors included state test scores, college readiness, graduation rates, SAT/ACT scores, teacher quality, student and parent reviews, and more. See how this ranking was calculated here.

Adlai Stevenson topped Niche’s list for best high schools in Illinois and was ranked as the fifth best high school in the U.S. The high school got an “A+” grade in Academics, Administration & Policies, Educational Outcomes, Extracurriculars, Food, Health & Safety, Resources & Facilities, Sports & Fitness and Teachers. The school received a “B+” for Student Culture & Diversity.
