BUFFALO GROVE, IL — Two DUI arrests, a retail theft and several traffic-related arrests are among the latest cases reported by the Buffalo Grove Police Department.
The following information comes from Buffalo Grove Police Department reports. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt.
A subject stole two bottles of soda without paying at a business in the 1200 block of West Dundee Road at around 9:03 a.m. Aug. 20, according to police.
A package worth $37.46 was stolen from a building mailroom in the 5 Villa Verde area at around 2:06 p.m. Aug. 23, police said.
Alvi Alten-Taller, 38, of Homewood, was arrested at around 8:29 p.m. Aug. 22 near Buffalo Grove and McHenry roads.
Police said Alten-Taller was charged with DUI, leaving the scene of an accident, improper lane usage, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. He was given a Sept. 18 court date in Mundelein.
Keeyana A. Campbell, 31, of Waukegan, was arrested at around 9:58 p.m. Aug. 23 in the 15 N. Buffalo Grove area.
Police said Campbell was charged with driving on a suspended license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driving with one headlight. She was given a Sept. 18 court date in Mundelein.
Jasmine Viera, 31, of North Chicago, was arrested at around 5:23 p.m. Aug. 24 in the 625 Schelter area.
Police said Viera was charged with driving on a revoked license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and operating a motor vehicle while registration was suspended. She was given a Sept. 18 court date in Mundelein.
Felipe Hernandez, 41, of Palatine, was arrested at around 12:45 a.m. Aug. 29 near Dundee and Ridge roads.
Police said Hernandez was charged with DUI and speeding. He was given a Sept. 16 court date in Waukegan.
Eduardo Zuniga-Castaneda, 38, of Waukegan, was arrested at around 9:52 p.m. Aug. 29 in the 700 block of East Lake Cook Road.
Police said Zuniga-Castaneda was charged with DUI and transportation of open alcohol by a driver. He was given a Sept. 16 court date in Waukegan.
Ilgiz Abdyshov, 20, of Bellevue, was arrested at around 12:56 a.m. Sept. 1 in the 700 block of East Lake Cook Road.
Police said Abdyshov was charged with driving on a suspended license, failure to signal when changing lanes and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. He was given a Sept. 18 court date in Mundelein.
Jasmine Viera, 31, of North Chicago, was arrested again at around 7:01 p.m. Sept. 1 near Industrial Drive and Aptakisic Road.
Police said she was charged with driving on a revoked license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. She was given a Sept. 18 court date in Mundelein.
