Residents looking to spend more time on the midway can purchase carnival megabands beginning Monday, Aug. 3. The bands provide unlimited carnival rides throughout all five days of the festival. Presale megabands cost $70 from Aug. 3 through Sept. 2. The price increases to $78 for bands purchased online or at the festival beginning Sept. 3. Buffalo Grove Days is the village's annual end-of-summer celebration and typically includes live entertainment, food vendors, family activities and carnival attractions at the park.
