Burglary Occurs At Smoke And Vape Shop: Buffalo Grove Police Blotter
Police found broken glass near the front door of the business and merchandise and currency had been taken.

BUFFALO GROVE, IL — The following information comes from the Buffalo Grove Police Department (except when noted) and court records as a record of incidents reported to police and those arrested on criminal charges, which represent accusations by the state that are often dropped or reduced.
Updated information may be available from the Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court. Everyone arrested is presumed to be innocent unless found guilty in court beyond a reasonable doubt.

DRIVING ON A SUSPENDED/REVOKED LICENSE

- Zamirbek Suiun Uulu, 27, 0f the 100 block of N. East River Road, Des Plaines, is accused of driving on a suspended license, failure to display registration plate, and was arrested at 12:41 a.m. Jan. 17, on Vernon Lane. He was released and assigned a court date of Feb. 14.
- Guillermo Viramontes, 47, of the 300 block of Plum Creek Drive, Wheeling, is accused of driving on a suspended license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and was arrested at 2:50 a.m. Jan. 18, at Milwaukee Avenue and Inverrary Lane. He was released and assigned a court date of Feb. 14.
AGGRAVATED DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE
Javier Mata Casarrubias, 25, of the 400 block of W. Lodge Trail, Wheeling, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, aggravated DUI, suspended license, and was arrested at 1:30 a.m. Jan. 17, in the 100 block of W. Dundee Road. He was released and assigned a court date of Jan. 21.

RETAIL THEFT
Marino Sanchez Alonso, 31, of the 400 block of E. Osage Lane, Palatine, is accused of retail theft, unlawful possession of a title, suspended license, and was arrested at 3:21 p.m. Jan. 15, at Woodman's Grocery, 1550 E. Deerfield Parkway. Police responded to the store for a retail theft in progress. Alonso had already left in a Honda Odyssey, which was stopped near Milwaukee Avenue and Deerfield Parkway. During the investigation, it was discovered Alonso had been involved in several thefts at Woodman's during the past few weeks. He also had a warrant out of Lake County, for which he was taken to the Lake County Jail.

Police responded at 8:19 a.m. Jan. 18, to a delayed burglary at We Smoke & Vape, 1505 W. Dundee Road. Police found broken glass near the front door of the business, and it appeared merchandise and currency had been taken.
