On Nov 2nd, 7pm, the Village of Buffalo Grove Trustees, WILL VOTE TO APPROVE the $52M +$6.2M purchase first, $52M to come later, of the 1100 Lake Cook Road Building. NO PUBLIC HEARINGS, nor complete details of "the $52M, remodel costs, what will become of old Village Hall/police station, HOW THE NEW building remodel will be completely paid for, etc" FOIAs submited since Jan/2026 have been "denied or partially denied". Except for Aug 31, 2026, and a 5PM "special meeting", ALL discussions of this 1100 lake Cook Road purchase/remodel "have been in Executive Session". The "agreement was approved Dec. 9, 2025, and since then 5 extensions of the agreement have been installed... FOIAs for why, also have been Denied or partially denied.
