Car Left Running In Driveway Stolen: Blotter
A person left their car running with the keys inside and it was stolen: Buffalo Grove Blotter.

BUFFALO GROVE, IL — The following information comes from the Buffalo Grove Police Department (except when noted) and court records as a record of incidents reported to police and those arrested on criminal charges, which represent accusations by the state that are often dropped or reduced.
Updated information may be available from the Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court. Everyone arrested is presumed to be innocent unless found guilty in court beyond a reasonable doubt.
ARRESTS

Jovita M. Forest, 36, of the 1800 block of Hoffman Estates, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, illegal lane usage, driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood alcohol content level higher than .08, lighted lamps violation, operating an uninsured vehicle, and was arrested at 2:44 a.m. Oct. 18 at Arlington Heights Road and Alden Lane. Her bond was set at $3,000, and she was assigned a court date of Nov. 18 in Waukegan.

- Fredy Leonel Lopez, 19, of the 800 block of McHenry Road, Wheeling, is accused of driving on a suspended/revoked license, a tinted adjacent windows violation, and was arrested at 7:54 p.m. Oct. 16 at Arlington Heights and Dundee roads. His bond was set at $2,500, and he was assigned a court date of Oct. 20 in Mundelein.
- More Kan Bility, 22, of the 2200 block of N Dogwood Lane, Palatine, is accused of driving on a suspended/revoked license, speeding over the statutory limit (53 mph in a 35 mph zone), and was arrested at 11:49 p.m. Oct. 19 at Arlington Heights Road and Strathmore Court. His bond was set at $2,500, and he was assigned a court date of Nov. 20 in Mundelein.
DOMESTIC BATTERY
Anthony Principe, Jr., 21, of Plainfield, is accused of having a warrant for his arrest out of Will County for domestic battery, and was arrested at 12:32 Oct. 19 in Buffalo Grove. His bond was set at $5,000, and he was scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 19.
FORGERY
Sharlize A. Joseph, 19, of the 10200 block of La Salle Street, Chicago, is accused of forgery, and was arrested at 10:37 p.m. Oct. 20. She was scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 21.
NO DRIVER'S LICENSE/PERMIT
Darnell L. Lemons, 20, of the 6900 block of S Cornell, Chicago, is accused of no driver's license/permit, an obstructed windshield or front-side window, and was arrested at 10:42 p.m. Oct. 20 at Dundee Road, east of Buffalo Grove Road. His bond was set at $2,500, and he was assigned a court date of Nov. 20.
FAILURE TO REPORT A CAR CRASH
Anthony Emmanuel Salgado, 19, of the 200 block of Lincoln Terrace, Buffalo Grove, is accused of failure to report an automobile crash, failure to reduce speed, and was arrested at 1:26 a.m. Oct. 19. His bond was set at $2,500, and was assigned a court date of Nov. 16 in Rolling Meadows.
INCIDENTS
THEFT $500 AND UNDER
A resident in the 1200 block of E Deerfield Parkway reported at 4:56 p.m. Oct. 19 someone had stolen their son's bicycle from the apartment hallway. The bike was left next to their apartment door and was stolen within 15 minutes.
THEFT OVER $500
A worker called police at 10:12 a.m. Oct. 22 to report 3,500 feet of copper wiring was taken from several light bases that were installed near the intersection of Newton Drive and Weiland Road. The approximated cost for the wiring is $7,500.
MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT
A person called police at 4:34 p.m. Oct. 20 to report their automobile had just been stolen in the area near St. Mary's Parkway. The caller said two males entered the car, which was parked and left running in the driveway of a home with the keys inside, and drove away eastbound of the parkway.
BURGLARY FROM MOTOR VEHICLE
A person reported at 2:20 p.m. Oct. 16 that their purse was stolen from their vehicle while they were dropping of their child at the Montessori World of Discovery, 1395 N Arlington Heights Road. They stated they realized the purse was missing after leaving the Buffalo Grove school and not seeing it in the front passenger seat. The phone was eventually traced back to a retirement home but no one was able to locate it.
