Car Of Pickleball Player Burglarized: Buffalo Grove Police Blotter
Police said the incident occurred at Mike Rylko Park, 1000 N. Buffalo Grove Road.

BUFFALO GROVE, IL — The following information comes from the Buffalo Grove Police Department (except when noted) and court records as a record of incidents reported to police and those arrested on criminal charges, which represent accusations by the state that are often dropped or reduced.
Updated information may be available from the Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court. Everyone arrested is presumed to be innocent unless found guilty in court beyond a reasonable doubt.

- Kenneth J. DeRoush, 37, of the 600 block of Thornwood Drive, Buffalo Grove, is accused of aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI, failure to reduce speed, driving with an expired registration, driving on a revoked license, and was arrested at 9:34 p.m. Aug. 8, following a crash investigation in the 300 block of Hawthorn Drive. Bond was set at $20,000.
- Israel Orozco Campos, 51, of the 300 block of N. Brandon, Glendale, is accused of DUI alcohol, DUI with a blood alcohol concentration level of .08 or more, and was arrested at 1:11 a.m. Aug. 12, in the 1200 block of W. Dundee Road. He was released after posting bond and was assigned a court date of Sept. 13.
DRIVING ON A SUSPENDED/REVOKED LICENSE
An 18-year-old Vernon Hills resident is accused of driving on a suspended license, improper traffic lane usage, operating a motor vehicle with more than one passenger in the car who is under the age of 20, and was arrested at 10:03 p.m. Aug. 11, at W. Dundee Road and N. Ridge Avenue. He was released after posting $2,500 bond and was assigned a court date of Sept. 8.

BURGLARY TO MOTOR VEHICLE
A citizen called police at 8:45 a.m. Aug. 10, to report her car, which had been locked, was broken into and an item was stolen at Mike Rylko Park, 1000 N. Buffalo Grove Road. The theft occurred while the citizen was at the adjacent pickleball courts. The rear driver's side window was broken out, which allowed access to the seating area, where the item was between the seats.
