BUFFALO GROVE, IL — The following information comes from the Buffalo Grove Police Department (except when noted) and court records as a record of incidents reported to police and those arrested on criminal charges, which represent accusations by the state that are often dropped or reduced.
Updated information may be available from the Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court. Everyone arrested is presumed to be innocent unless found guilty in court beyond a reasonable doubt.

- Brittany K. Clark, 30, of Dundee Quarter Drive, Palatine, is accused of driving on a suspended license, expired registration, and was arrested at 11:56 a.m. April 14, in the 0-20 block of S. McHenry Road. She was released on a bond and was assigned a court date of May 20.
- Cyan T. Mitchell, 20, of the 1900 block of Cambridge Court, Palatine, is accused of driving on a suspended license, expired registration, had a warrant out of DuPage County for bond forfeiture, and was arrested at 2:45 a.m. April 28, at Dundee and Arlington Heights roads. She was released after posting bond and was assigned a court date of May 13.
- Luis R. Echevarria Ceniceros, 25, of the 1300 block of E. Turtle Creek Circle, Palatine, is accused of driving on a suspended license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, tinted windows, unlawful possession of cannabis by a driver, and was arrested at 9:39 p.m. April 29, in the 500 block of W. Dundee Road. He was released on bond and was assigned a court date of May 13.
- Adolfo Sotero, 44, of the 600 block of Gary Court, Wheeling, is accused of driving on a revoked license, speeding, and was arrested at 4:49 p.m. May 1, in the 1200 block of Weiland Road, Wheeling. He was released on a bond and was assigned a court date of May 20.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT

A resident in the 800 block of Vernon Court South reported at 5:15 a.m. April 28, their car was stolen during the overnight hours. The car had been parked in the driveway. The vehicle was recovered later that day by Round Lake police.
BURGLARY TO MOTOR VEHICLE
A resident of the 500 block of Hawthorne Road called police at 8:25 a.m. April 28, to report their vehicle had been burglarized during the overnight hours. Personal items were taken from the vehicle. Further investigation revealed that two burglary attempts were made on two separate vehicles during the same time frame in the 400 block of White Pine and 400 block of Mayfair Lane.
THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE PARTS
A person called police at 8:01 p.m. May 2, to report their car's catalytic converter had been stolen over the course of the last few days while parked in a parking lot in the 1200 block of E. Deerfield Parkway.
