Cause Of Death Of Man Found In Woodman's Lot Released: Coroner
A 68-year-old Skokie resident was found dead Saturday afternoon in his car, parked at the grocery store.

BUFFALO GROVE, IL — A Skokie man, found dead inside his car Saturday afternoon at Woodman's Market in Buffalo Grove, appears to have died of natural causes. Danny McCoy, 68, was pronounced dead at the scene at 1550 Deerfield Parkway.
On Wednesday, the Lake County Coroner's Office said toxicology tests are still pending.
At around 2:57 p.m. Saturday, the Buffalo Grove police and fire departments were dispatched to the scene for a well-being check on a vehicle with a person inside and foul odor being emitted.

Upon arrival, police found a man, later identified as McCoy, in a blue Chevrolet Equinox parked on the south end of the parking lot. First responders confirmed he was deceased. Authorities conducted an investigation following the discovery that lasted over three hours. There was never a threat to the public, according to police.
