Chamber To Hold Parade Food Drive

Parade spectators expect to collect candy. But in Buffalo Grove, they are also asked to bring food along when they gather along the street to watch the Buffalo Grove Days parade.

Members of the Buffalo Grove Area Chamber of Commerce will be pushing shopping carts in the parade. Attendees are invited to help fill the carts to benefit local food pantries.

The parade begins at 1 p.m. Sunday on Bernard Drive.

Food donations will also be accepted at the Chamber office during normal business hours from Sept. 6-30. Call the Chamber at (847) 541-7799 for more information.
