Child Passenger Safety Campaign Numbers Released In Buffalo Grove
The department joined forces with more than 200 local law enforcement agencies to increase awareness about proper child safety seat use.
BUFFALO GROVE, IL —The Buffalo Grove Police Department issued 14 seat belt citations and three other traffic citations during its Child Passenger Safety Week enforcement campaign that took place Sept. 17- 30, according to a news release.
The department joined forces with more than 200 local law enforcement agencies to increase awareness about proper child safety seat use, and to encourage all motorists to buckle up. The effort featured high-visibility enforcement combined with a variety of outreach activities, including a media campaign, according to the news release.
