College Credits: Buffalo Grove's Daloia Helps Raise Funds

Buffalo Grove's Hayley Daloia Participates in Dance Marathon For University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital

Hayley Daloia, of Buffalo Grove, was one of more than 1,400 current University of Iowa students who participated in the 27th annual student-led Dance Marathon which raised more than $1.4 million for the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital and one of just 275 Iowa students who held leadership positions with the organization. Daloia served as a Leadership/Morale Captain during the current academic year. The final tally raised by the students — who were inspired by the theme of this year's Dance Marathon: "Rise with Resilience" — was $1,422,443.27, a total which pushed the amount of support generated by Dance Marathon over the course of its history to more than $31 million.

Abhishek Patel graduates from UW-Whitewater

Abhishek Patel, from Buffalo Grove, earned a degree from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater at winter commencement on Dec. 19, 2020. Patel graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in general business. More than 846 graduates graduated in a virtual ceremony.
