Construction Could Get Underway Soon for Woodman's in Buffalo Grove
A groundbreaking ceremony for the new grocery store is expected to be held this summer.

BUFFALO GROVE, IL - The village of Buffalo Grove is one step closer to getting a Woodman's Food Market. On Monday, the village board approved a development improvement agreement with Woodman's, which is planning a new 240,000-square-foot store at Deerfield Parkway and Milwaukee Avenue in Buffalo Grove, according to the Daily Herald.
The development team now needs to get permits from the Illinois Division of Transportation and Lake County and then village officials are expecting a groundbreaking ceremony to be held early this summer, the Daily Herald reports.
In addition to the main grocery store, Woodman's is planning to develop a fuel center, convenience store,quick lube and carwash on the south side of Deerfield Parkway. The store would be located on the on the northwest corner of the intersection of Deerfield Parkway and Milwaukee Avenue.
