BUFFALO GROVE, IL — The following information comes from the Buffalo Grove Police Department (except when noted) and court records as a record of incidents reported to police and those arrested on criminal charges, which represent accusations by the state that are often dropped or reduced.

Updated information may be available from the Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court. Everyone arrested is presumed to be innocent unless found guilty in court beyond a reasonable doubt.

RESISTING A PEACE OFFICER

Deriece M. Williams, 24, of the 400 block of N. Wolf Road is accused of resisting a peace officer, driving on a revoked license, and was arrested at 12:04 p.m. March 8, at Dundee and Weidner roads. A court date of April 5 was assigned.

  • Yamini Hirvey, 44, of the 100 block of W. Golf Road, Libertyville, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood alcohol concentration level of .08 or more, speeding, improper lane usage, and was arrested at 11:47 p.m. March 11, at Lake Cook Road and Milwaukee Avenue. She was released after posting $1,000 bond and was assigned a court date of April 12.
  • Oleh Dotsiak, 20, of the 500 block of W. Happfield Drive, Arlington Heights, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, aggravated driving under the influence when driving privileges were revoked, resisting a peace officer, possession of a controlled substance, failure to remain at the scene of a vehicle damage accident, suspended license, and was arrested at 4:58 p.m. March 12, in the 1100 block of W. Lake Cook Road. Police were responding to a hit-and-run crash at the intersection of Lake Cook and McHenry roads, when police were notified the offending car, allegedly driven by Dotsiak, was stuck in a ditch. He was taken to a holding cell. A court date of March 13 was assigned.

RETAIL THEFT

Police were called to CVS, 20 E. Dundee Road, at 2:25 p.m. March 9, for a report of a retail theft. An unknown woman left the store without paying for $500 worth of merchandise.
