Drunken Driver, Theft Reported At Woodman's: Buffalo Grove PD Blotter

Both incidents occurred last week at the grocery store, located at 1550 E. Deerfield Parkway, according to police.

BUFFALO GROVE, IL — The following information comes from the Buffalo Grove Police Department (except when noted) and court records as a record of incidents reported to police and those arrested on criminal charges, which represent accusations by the state that are often dropped or reduced.

Updated information may be available from the Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court. Everyone arrested is presumed to be innocent unless found guilty in court beyond a reasonable doubt.

Christopher Clark, 36, of the 300 block of Bentley Place, Buffalo Grove, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested at 2:41 p.m. July 26, at Woodman's Grocery, 1550 E. Deerfield Parkway. He was released and is due in court on Aug. 14.

NO DRIVER'S LICENSE

Omar Antonio-Alia, 35, of the 1100 block of Miller Lane, Buffalo Grove, is accused of operating a motor vehicle without a driver's license, having an expired registration, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, having a suspended license, and was arrested at 8:37 p.m. July 27, in the 200 block of W. Dundee Road. He was released and assigned a court date of Sept. 13.

INCIDENTS

BURGLARY TO MOTOR VEHICLE

A resident in the 100 block of reported at 7:45 a.m. July 25, that during the overnight hours, someone had entered their car.

THEFT

Police responded to Woodman's Grocery, 1550 E. Deerfield Parkway, at 5:35 p.m. July 26, for a theft report. A man had left the store without paying for various grocery items.
