Eggings Reported At Multiple Homes: Buffalo Grove Police Blotter

One homeowner said his home has been egged twice in the last month with reported damage to the property.

BUFFALO GROVE, IL — The following information comes from the Buffalo Grove Police Department (except when noted) and court records as a record of incidents reported to police and those arrested on criminal charges, which represent accusations by the state that are often dropped or reduced.

Updated information may be available from the Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court. Everyone arrested is presumed to be innocent unless found guilty in court beyond a reasonable doubt.

DRIVING ON A SUSPENDED/REVOKED LICENSE

  • Jason Martinez, 21, of the 1900 block of Fargo, Des Plaines is accused of driving on a suspended license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, driving with an expired registration, and was arrested at 5:09 p.m. March 14, at Buffalo Grove and Lake Cook roads. He was released after posting bond and was assigned a court date of April 21.
  • A 36-year-old North Chicago resident is accused of driving on a suspended license, and was arrested at 1:16 p.m. March 15. She was released after posting bond.
  • David Taylor, 22, of the 700 block of E. Constitution Drive, Palatine, is accused of driving with a suspended license, failure to wear a seatbelt, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and was arrested at 5:55 p.m. March 18, at Arlington Heights Road and Villa Verde Drive. He was released after posting a $2,500 bond and was assigned a court date of April 14.
  • Travis F. Hall, 23, of the 2300 block of Nichols Road, Arlington Heights, is accused of driving on a suspended license, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and was arrested at 8:39 p.m. March 18, at Arlington Heights Road and Strathmore Court. He was released after posting a $2,500 bond and was assigned a court date of April 14.

  • A Woodhollow Lane resident reported at 5:05 p.m. March 19, someone threw eggs at his house, causing damage. The resident said on the prior day, he heard something strike the exterior of his house. He found several eggs thrown at his house. The shutters of an upper window were broken from one of the egg strikes.
  • A Pine Tree Circle resident called police at 10:24 a.m. March 18, to report someone had egged his house the prior night. During the egging, he believed someone ripped his bedroom window screen out, causing damage to the screen. Police found a sliding glass door and a bedroom window at the rear of the property covered with egg. They also found a screen laying against the patio furniture and saw a small hole toward the bottom of the screen. The resident said it was the second egging at his house in the last month.
