SAVE THE DATE!HONORING OUR RABBI WITH"EXPRESSIONS OF GRATITUDE"
Rabbi Howard Lifshitz, Congregation Beth Judea's Senior Rabbi since 1981, will be retiring on June 30, 2011. The congregation will honor him during the week-end of May 20-May 22 with their "Expressions of Gratitude". We shall honor him for his thirty-years of service and his appointment as our Rabbi Emeritus.
A Shabbat dinner will take place on Friday evening, May 20. On Saturday afternoon, May 21, we shall participate in a Seudah Shlishit and the 1st Annual Rabbi Lifshitz Symposium. On Sunday evening, May 22, there will be a formal dinner honoring Rabbi Lifshitz.
