Felony Charge For Woodman's Shoplifter: Buffalo Grove Police Blotter
Police said the Arlington Heights resident exited the store with more than $700 in stolen groceries.

BUFFALO GROVE, IL — The following information comes from the Buffalo Grove Police Department (except when noted) and court records as a record of incidents reported to police and those arrested on criminal charges, which represent accusations by the state that are often dropped or reduced.
Updated information may be available from the Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court. Everyone arrested is presumed to be innocent unless found guilty in court beyond a reasonable doubt.

Peter Charles Clifford, 54, of the 25400 block of W. Ivanhoe Road, Wauconda, is accused of aggravated driving under the influence, driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood alcohol concentration level of .08 or more, driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested at 9:06 p.m. Feb. 10, in the 400 block of W. Dundee Road. A court date of Feb. 11 was assigned.

Cherman Tseboev, 27, of the 2700 block of Buffalo Grove Road, Arlington Heights, is accused of felony retail theft, and was arrested at 7:15 a.m. Feb. 13, at Woodman's Grocery, 500 block of E. Deerfield Parkway. According to police and store employees, Tsevoev filled a grocery cart with $721.10 in merchandise and left the store without paying.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
A person in charge of building maintenance at a property in the 1-100 block of Old Oak Drive reported at 10:51 a.m. Feb. 13, a resident had notified them that some packages in the front foyer area had been tampered with. Security footage showed a heavyset woman wearing a black Chicago Bulls hoodie and white sweatpants entering the building at 6 a.m. She first attempted to pry the door open, but was unsuccessful. The attempt did cause minor damage. She then opened and inspected multiple packages in the foyer, but did not take anything. She tried to pry open the mailroom entry door, but again was unsuccessful. This attempt also caused damage to the door near the latch. She then exited the building and tried to open the maintenance door near the garage, but was again unsuccessful. She left in a silver four-door vehicle.
RETAIL THEFT
An employee at Woodman's Grocery, 1550 E. Deerfield Parkway, called police at 1:24 p.m. Feb. 13, to report a person stole several Ferrero Rocher chocolates by placing them inside a reusable shopping bag and walking out of the store without paying for them. The person was stopped by security and eventually received a no trespass warning and citation from police. A court date of March 14 was assigned.
THEFT
A resident in the 1-12 block of Oak Creek Drive reported at 3:14 p.m. Feb. 14, reported theft of an Amazon package, valued at $150.69. They told police the package was delivered by Amazon, but they think it was stolen from the mail room of their apartment complex.
