On Saturday, Jan. 26, Jet's will give away one free slice of its signature deep dish pizza to each customer between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. That deal is good at Jet's 12 Chicago area stores, including the one in Wheeling.

The local store is at 1065 E. Lake-Cook Road.

“Chicago is an extremely competitive pizza market, but once people get a taste of Jet’s, they’re hooked,” said John Jetts, vice president of marketing. “Our Free Slice Day is a chance to celebrate the openings of our newest stores and introduce our product to people who haven’t tried it yet.”

Jet’s Detroit-style, square deep dish pizza with a crunchy crust is the pizza the Michigan-based chain is best known for. Jet’s prepares its dough frsh daily at each store.

Customers can “flavorize” their crust for free with a choice of eight flavors: butter, poppy seed, Parmesan, garlic, Cajun, Romano, sesame seed and Jet’s Turbo Crust.
