Group Steals Benz From Repair Shop: Buffalo Grove Police Blotter
The group entered the business through a garage, according to police.

BUFFALO GROVE, IL — The following information comes from the Buffalo Grove Police Department (except when noted) and court records as a record of incidents reported to police and those arrested on criminal charges, which represent accusations by the state that are often dropped or reduced.
Updated information may be available from the Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court. Everyone arrested is presumed to be innocent unless found guilty in court beyond a reasonable doubt.

- Alexsander Zingerman, 56, of the 500 block of Harris Drive, Buffalo Grove, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving 15-20 mph over the speed limit (57 mph in a 40 mph zone), and was arrested at 10:16 p.m. Nov. 16, in the 1000 block of Weiland Road. He was released after posting bond and was assigned a court date of Dec. 7.
- Angel Medina, 20, of the 600 block of Piper Lane, Prospect Heights, is accused of two counts of aggravated driving under the influence, driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence with a blood alcohol concentration level of .08 or more, and was arrested at 3:29 a.m. Nov. 21, in the 1000 block of E. Lake Cook Road.
- Acquianetta S. James, 31, of the 900 block of Spiros Court, DeKalb, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, resisting a peace officer, following too closely, operate a vehicle with an expired registration, and was arrested at 2:39 a.m. Nov. 24, at W. Lake Cook and N. Buffalo Grove roads. They were released on $3,000 bond and was assigned a court date of Dec. 14.
- Daniyel S. Achio, 32, of the 1600 block of W. Partridge Court, Arlington Heights, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving 15-20 mph above the speed limit, expiration of registration, and was arrested at 11:45 p.m. Nov. 24, at W. Dundee Road and Golfview Terrace. He was released on bond and was assigned a court date of Dec. 4.
WARRANT
Jeremy M. Point, 40, of the 800 block of Belvidere Road, Waukegan, had a warrant out of Lake County, and was arrested at 10:44 p.m. Nov. 19, CVS Pharmacy, 20 block of E. Dundee Road. Police had been called to the store following a report of a suspicious person in the store. After not posting bond, Point was taken to the Lake County Jail.

DRIVING ON A SUSPENDED/REVOKED DRIVER'S LICENSE
- Xenia Y. Hegwood, 28, of the 1400 block of Candlewood Court, Wheeling, is accused of driving on a suspended license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, not wearing a seat belt, and was arrested at 6:18 p.m. Nov. 22, at Weiland and Lake Cook roads. She was released on bond and was assigned a court date of Dec. 16.
- A 20-year-old Joliet resident is accused of driving on a suspended license, and was arrested at 9:40 p.m. Nov. 23, in the 50 block of Lake Cook Road. They were released on bond and were assigned a court date of Dec. 9.
- A 22-year-old Skokie resident is accused of driving on a suspended license, squealing/screeching tires, and was arrested at 11:45 p.m. Nov. 23, at W. Lake Cook Road and Raupp Bouleveard. They were released on bond and was assigned a court date of Dec. 21.

INCIDENTS
RETAIL THEFT
An employee at Walgreens, 10 block of N. Buffalo Grove Road, called police at 11:58 p.m. Nov. 20, to report a man had stolen ice cream and a candy bar before fleeing in a vehicle.
MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT
Police responded to the 900 block of Deerfield Parkway at 9:07 a.m. Nov. 21, for a report of a stolen vehicle. Police learned that several people had entered the garage of an auto repair shop, got into a Mercedes-Benz and drove it out of the garage.
