Group Steals Car Part At Woodman's Gas: Buffalo Grove P.D. Blotter
The suspects fled the scene in an unknown direction, according to police.

BUFFALO GROVE, IL — The following information comes from the Buffalo Grove Police Department (except when noted) and court records as a record of incidents reported to police and those arrested on criminal charges, which represent accusations by the state that are often dropped or reduced.
Updated information may be available from the Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court. Everyone arrested is presumed to be innocent unless found guilty in court beyond a reasonable doubt.

- Roddy D. Allen Clay, 28, of Davenport, Iowa, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI with a blood alcohol concentration level of .08 or more, and was arrested at 4:01 a.m. Aug. 27, in the 1200 block of W. Dundee Road. He was released after posting bond and was assigned a court date of Sept. 13.
- Cresencio M. Diaz Santos, 31, of the 1600 block of Tahoe Circle, Wheeling, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI with a blood alcohol concentration level of .08 or more, operating a vehicle without a license, transporting liquor by a driver, improper lane usage, and was arrested at 8:21 p.m. Aug. 27, at Cambridge Drive and E. Dundee Road. He was released after posting $3,000 bond and was assigned a court date of Sept. 19.
FLEEING A PEACE OFFICER
Christopher Larson, 30, of the 600 block of Trace Drive, Buffalo Grove, is accused of fleeing a police officer, driving on a suspended license, speeding, and was arrested at 12:02 a.m. Aug. 29, at S. Arlington Heights Road and Strathmore Court. He was released after posting $2,000 bond and was assigned a court date of Sept. 19.

A resident in the 1200 block of Ranchview Court reported at 8:59 a.m. Aug. 25, a siding machine was stolen from the side of the home.
THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE PARTS
Police were called to the Woodman's gas station, 1550 E. Deerfield Parkway, at 12:30 a.m. Aug. 27, for a theft in progress. A complainant told police a group was removing a part from a vehicle. All subjects fled in an unknown direction.
RETAIL THEFT
An employee of Ricky Rockets, 700 block of E. Lake Cook Road, called police at 4:46 a.m. Aug. 27, to report two men were in the store walking around. One of the men walked out with a bag of chips and did not pay for them.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY
A resident of the 1200 block of Sheridan Road reported at 7:35 p.m. Aug. 28, for a residential burglary. The resident told police that when they entered their home, they noticed items out of place, cabinet doors and a closet were ransacked.
