Thief Steals $800 Apple Watch At T-Mobile: Buffalo Grove P.D. Blotter
An employee told police the watch had been stolen from a display.

BUFFALO GROVE, IL — The following information comes from the Buffalo Grove Police Department (except when noted) and court records as a record of incidents reported to police and those arrested on criminal charges, which represent accusations by the state that are often dropped or reduced.
Updated information may be available from the Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court. Everyone arrested is presumed to be innocent unless found guilty in court beyond a reasonable doubt.

- Dwain Johnny Vaughn, 23, of the 2800 block of Martin Lane, Rolling Meadows, is accused of driving on a revoked license, having an expired registration, and was arrested at 12:20 a.m. Aug. 17, at Lake Cook and Weidner roads. He was released after posting a $2,500 bond and was assigned a court date of Sept. 8.
- Martin Padron-Ramirez, 38, of the 800 block of E. Old Willow Road, Prospect Heights, is accused of driving on a revoked license, having dark-tinted windows, and was arrested at 5:52 p.m. Aug. 18, in the 800 block of E Deerfield Parkway. He was released after posting $2,500 bond, and was assigned a court date of Sept. 8.
- Fernando D. Garza Salgado, 28, of the 800 block of Post Lane, Streamwood, is accused of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration, driving on a revoked license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, operating a vehicle with an expired registration, and was arrested at 3:59 p.m. Aug. 19, at Ellen Drive and W. Dundee Road. He was released after posting bond and was assigned a court date of Sept. 9.
- Raheym A. Spells, 28, of the 16600 block of Heritage Avenue, Markham, is accused of driving on a revoked license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, a lane control violation, and was arrested at 11:12 a.m. Aug. 18, in the 500 block of W. Dundee Road. He was released on bond and was assigned a court date of Sept. 15.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS TO VEHICLES

Police responded to the 1200 block of Churchill at 9:29 p.m. Aug. 18, for a delayed criminal trespass to vehicles report. A citizen told police that someone had entered his vehicle between 5 a.m. and 6:30 a.m.
RETAIL THEFT
An employee at T-Mobile, 800 block of N. Milwaukee Avenue, called police on Aug. 18 to report that at some time during the afternoon hours, someone stole an Apple Watch, valued at $800, that had been on display. The employee said they noticed the watch band was now on the table, not on the display stand. Police found a green fabric watch band still on the table, but the electronic deterrent had been peeled off the back of the watch case. It was still attached to the watchband. The watch was still missing at the time of the report.
