Holmes Middle School receives $500 donation from Westin

Staff members from the Westin in Wheeling recently visited Holmes Middle School to meet students, drop off motivational posters, and donate $500 to the school’s Parent Teacher Organization (PTO).

“We greatly appreciate the Westin’s recognition of the tremendous things our students are doing in the community and appreciate them giving back to our school,” said Martin Hopkins, Principal of Holmes Middle School. “Our business partners are vital to strengthening our community and we thank the Westin for the generous donation.”

While the donation has not yet been designated for a specific use, PTO funds frequently help defray costs of field trips and other activities for students.
