BUFFALO GROVE, IL — The following information comes from the Buffalo Grove Police Department (except when noted) and court records as a record of incidents reported to police and those arrested on criminal charges, which represent accusations by the state that are often dropped or reduced.

Updated information may be available from the Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court. Everyone arrested is presumed to be innocent unless found guilty in court beyond a reasonable doubt.

ARRESTS

DRIVING ON A SUSPENDED/REVOKED LICENSE

  • Jose Ruiz-Rodriguez, 52, of the 4800 block of W. Altgeld Street, Chicago, is accused of driving with a suspended license, and was arrested at 4:58 p.m. April 20, in the 400 block of W. Dundee Road. He was released after posting $2,500 bond and was assigned a court date of June 2.
  • Marquise E. Murray, 20, of the 90 block of N. Crooked Lake Lane, Lindenhurst, is accused of driving on a suspended license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, not using headlights when required, and was arrested at 1:31 a.m. April 22, at Weiland and Lake Cook roads. A court date of April 22 was assigned.

BATTERY

Khongorzul Chimeddorj, 31, of the 1100 block of Daytona Way, Pingree Grove, is accused of battery, criminal damage to property, and was arrested at 8:33 p.m. April 21, at Mariano's, 450 W. Half Day Road. He was released after posting bond and was assigned a court date of May 11.

INCIDENTS

BURGLARY

Police were called at 2:38 a.m. April 21, for a reported burglary to a building in the 1600 block of Barclay Boulevard. During a subsequent investigation, police determined the business was forcibly entered and multiple items were taken from inside the building.

RETAIL THEFT

Police were called at 5:47 p.m. April 20, to Woodman's Grocery, 1550 E. Deerfield Parkway, for a reported retail theft. It was determined that two subjects left the store without paying for a shopping cart full of merchandise. Both were later identified, issued adjudication citations, and trespass warnings.

VANDALISM

A W. Thompson Boulevard resident called police at 10:25 p.m. April 21, to report that when she arrived home, she found the front of her house had been vandalized with eggs. She said it was the third time it has happened this year. Police found eggshells and egg yolk on the driveway, sidewalk, front door and on the siding of the house.

BURGLARY TO MOTOR VEHICLE

A Johnson Drive resident reported at 6:21 p.m. April 23, the glovebox and center console of their car had been ransacked.
