Employees said a man had stolen medication and fled the area in a silver Nissan westbound on Lake Cook Road. The man was described as Hispanic, in his early 20s, with "bowl cut" dark hair, thin mustache, around 130 pounds. He was wearing a black shirt, black pants and white shoes. After entering the store, the man went to the area where the "Plan B" contraceptives are stored. He removed a single box, went into the restroom and remained there for several minutes. After he left the restroom, an employee went in and found the packaging for the pill, valued at $30, in the trash, but no pill. The employee had changed the trash bag several minutes prior to the encounter, and no other person had been in the store at the time. The man then proceeded to the register to buy an energy drink and denied any knowledge of the incident when confronted by employees. He paid for the drink and left the store.
