In 22 years in Kildeer Countryside School District 96, Christopher Morris has inspired many a student. Time to paint, sketch, sculpt, and design in Mr. Morris's art classroom is a learning opportunity his elementary students anticipate and enjoy.
From among thousands of art instructors, Mr. Morris is one of 15 national recipients of the 2020 Artsonia Art Education Leadership Award for his inspiration of peers in the art education community and his engagement of students.

Mr. Morris appreciates the honor of this recognition as a leader in art education and notes, "There are so many art teachers and colleagues that inspire me. It's nice to know that I inspire others, too."
Artsonia's online student art museum gives the opportunity to purchase student artworks in keepsake formats and returns 20 percent of that revenue to the local art classroom.
