Lexus Stolen From Building's Parking Lot : Buffalo Grove PD Blotter

BUFFALO GROVE, IL — The following information comes from the Buffalo Grove Police Department (except when noted) and court records as a record of incidents reported to police and those arrested on criminal charges, which represent accusations by the state that are often dropped or reduced.

Updated information may be available from the Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court. Everyone arrested is presumed to be innocent unless found guilty in court beyond a reasonable doubt.

ARRESTS

OPERATING A MOTOR VEHICLE WITH NO LICENSE

Alexandria Aca Rosas, 20, is accused of operating a motor vehicle with no license, suspended registration, no insurance, and was arrested at 9:39 a.m. Nov. 23, at W. Dundee and N. Arlington Heights roads. She was released and assigned a court date of Dec. 20.

SUSPENDED/REVOKED DRIVER'S LICENSE

  • Kimberly N. Williams, 43, is accused of having a suspended license, disregarding a stop sign, no insurance, and was arrested at 12:31 p.m. Nov. 24, at Thompson and Madison. She was released and assigned a court date of Dec. 13.
  • Brian G. Collins, 65, is accused of driving on a suspended license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, having an expired registration, and was arrested at 5:32 p.m. Nov. 24, at Deerfield Parkway and Weiland Road. He was released and assigned a court date of Dec. 13.

INCIDENTS

RETAIL THEFT

Police responded to Walgreens, 15 N. Buffalo Grove Road, at 3:13 p.m. Nov. 24, for a retail theft-in-progress. A male had placed items in his jacket and was currently in the store. He was described as wearing a black top and black winter hat. When police arrived, they saw him walking near the main entrance toward the parked vehicles. He was approached and detained in the parking lot, and given a retail theft citation, as well as a trespass warning.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY

Police responded to the 8th block of Oak Creek Drive at 8:16 a.m. Nov. 26, for a criminal damage to property report. The property's maintenance manager had noticed the passenger side rear window broken out from a parked car. It didn't appear that the vehicle had been gone through, as nothing had been moved or was missing.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT

Police responded to the 5th block of Oak Creek Drive at 8:59 a.m. Nov. 26, for a motor vehicle theft. A resident had gone out to the back parking lot earlier and found their Lexus GS350 missing. No broken glass was found in the area where it went missing.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

A resident in the 900 block of Cooper Court reported a burglary at 8 p.m. Nov. 26. The complainant told police they had returned home to find a rear sliding door's glass shattered and several interior dressers had their contents dumped on the floor. Police found no one inside.
