Man Slaps Worker 3 Times In Face At Biz: Buffalo Grove Police Blotter
The complainant said he and a coworker were standing inside the business, talking and laughing, when the accused approached him.

BUFFALO GROVE, IL — The following information comes from the Buffalo Grove Police Department (except when noted) and court records as a record of incidents reported to police and those arrested on criminal charges, which represent accusations by the state that are often dropped or reduced.
Updated information may be available from the Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court. Everyone arrested is presumed to be innocent unless found guilty in court beyond a reasonable doubt.

DRIVING ON A REVOKED/SUSPENDED LICENSE

- Agustin Hernandez-Ontiveros, 59, of the 600 block of McKinley Avenue, Mundelein, is accused of driving on a revoked license, failure to reduce speed, and was arrested at 5:53 p.m. Nov. 13, at McHenry and N. Buffalo Grove roads. He was released following his arrest and a court date of Dec. 20 was assigned.
- Victor Zarate, 40, of the 0-10 block of E. Dundee Quarter Drive, Palatine, is accused of driving on a suspended license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, unlawful possession of title or registration documents, unlawful, and was arrested at 8:22 p.m. Nov. 14, at S. Buffalo Grove and Dundee roads. He was released following his arrest and assigned a court date of Jan. 7, 2025.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE
Alfredo Arenas Velasco, 50, of the 90 block of Bernard Drive, Buffalo Grove, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested at 1 a.m. Nov. 16, in the 600 block of N. Buffalo Grove Road. He was released following his arrest.

BATTERY
Garba I. Abderamane, 50, of the 4500 block of N. Claredon Avenue, Chicago, is accused of battery, and was arrested at 7:09 a.m. Nov. 16, Nemera Buffalo Grove, 600 Deerfield Parkway. The complainant said he and a coworker were standing inside the business, talking and laughing, when Abderamane reportedly approached him and slapped him in the face three times with an open hand. Abderamane was released and assigned a court date of Dec. 2.

INCIDENTS
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY
A resident in the 1000 block of Brandywyn Lane reported at 10:21 p.m. Nov. 14, their residence had been burglarized. Upon arrival, police found the front door had signs of forced entry. The resident had been away at work during the day, and when they returned home, they found several rooms had been ransacked.
BURGLARY
Police responded to Nerd Rage Gaming, 1361 W. Dundee Road, at 3:21 a.m. Nov. 17, for a burglary alarm call, which was later classified as a burglary with forced entry. Upon arrival, police found there was broken glass. The front glass door was shattered by an unknown object, and it was left partially open. The building was checked, but no one was found inside. The front display case appeared to have been opened and items were missing. There was merchandise on the sidewalk outside, east of the store toward the back of the building, according to police.
