Long Grove Hosts World Tour Event
The business district will celebrate cultural diversity with various festivities and promotions Sept. 3-5.

The Long Grove business district will present its second annual World Tour event, which showcases the area’s cultural diversity, Sept. 3-5.
Internationally themed events, live music, dancers and musicians will entertain outdoors throughout the village from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.
From Irish, Scandinavian, German, French, Native American, Italian and more, the businesses of historic Long Grove will represent their heritage with in-store specials and treats. There will be Irish step dancers, belly dancing, bagpipe players, German oompah bands, Scottish fling, tunes of Polish and Scandinavian ancestry, and choirs and live bands.

Ice cream eating contests, free movies, and rides for children will be offered.
Shoppers will be entered into a drawing awarding a Long Grove gift basket valued at $1,000 or every $25 they spend in Long Grove’s stores and restaurants. Shoppers and diners should take their receipts to Long Grove’s Visitor’s Information Center located in the Archer parking lot next to Long Grove’s new Sunset Pavilion. Entries will be accepted from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
